Electrifying Blue Waves in San Diego

Not really related to Bushcraft but I think this is worthy of a post on any blog. Whats going on in San Diego is a plankton bloom, or red tide.  What causes the bioluminescence that you see in the video, is a chemical reaction when the phytoplankton-inhabited waters are disturbed, such as crashing waves or running a hand through it.  Surfing this would be incredible.
